Driver

Driver Used: madwifi
LiveCD
Included: Yes
Hard Drive Install
Installed by default: No
Device does not work out of the box. Need to install driver from repository which can be installed through synaptic if you have another internet connection.

Notes on Driver

Driver version included in v.92 is 0.9.6.0 which is considered madwifi-old.
The madwifi driver is considered a beta driver until version hits 1.0 but don't let beta concern you. For normal home use, it's a very stable driver.
There are a handful of devices not supported by madwifi-old (and this is really a small list). There is a newer driver called madwifi-ng that can be installed if you find your device isn't working. Ask on the forums for help on compiling and installing the newer driver. And don't be afraid of this, the madwifi-ng driver is a very easy module to compile and install.
You also have another option to use NdisWrapper to make the windows drivers work in linux.
