Although really not as necessary as with Windows, there are a anti-virus tools available for Linux. You can basically divide them into two categories: "Free" and "Non-Free"

Free Anti-Virus Tools


You can very easily installed these anti-virus tools on PCLinuxOS. You can install these tools very easily using Synaptic.


Non-Free Anti-Virus Tools


These are the Non-Free tools. They are not available for installation from Synaptic.

F-Prot - With Synaptic, search for and install: qtfprot.
Panda AV - Non-GPL freeware for home or business use.
Central Command - Non-GPL pay-for use software. Mainly for business use.
BitDefender - Non-GPL pay-for use software. Mainly for business server use.
